Sleep Problems

Sleep ProblemsAt the age of 4, I suffered an injury to my forehead. I also received many ‘silver’ fillings, due to a sweet tooth and a poor diet. I struggled on through life, coping as best I could under the circumstances. As long as I can remember, I have suffered from anxiety, excessive shyness and a poor memory, which have greatly hindered my ability to pursue my dreams and ambitions.

At age 38, my dentist recommended that I replace my ‘silver’ fillings with gold and porcelain. Soon after, I started to experience insomnia, heightened anxiety, depression, allergies and fatigue. My family doctor prescribed Amitriptyline to help me sleep, which I took for 8 years.

At 46, as I entered into menopause, all symptoms became progressively worse, to the point that I was forced to resign from work and take a complete rest. A few months later, as my health continued to go downhill, a test revealed that I was suffering from heavy metal poisoning. I immediately started a chelation program to remove the accumulated poisons, along with dietary changes, nutritional supplements and exercise. I was making progress, but recovery was slow, so I decided to follow the advice of a friend who highly recommended Dr. Souvestre.

When I came to see Dr. Souvestre in October 2000, I was experiencing insomnia, constipation, incontinence, sugar cravings, anxiety, short and long term memory loss, foggy thinking, mood swings, irritability, hot flashes, night sweats, chronic fatigue, depression, permanent flu-like symptoms, overall pain and stiffness, visual blurriness, dizziness, cold body temperature, poor circulation, decreased libido, fibrocystic breasts, mal-absorption, weight loss, acidosis, indigestion, violent headaches and heart palpitations.

Dr. Souvestre’s caring and attentive bedside manner immediately made me feel at ease.
I was encouraged by the fact that he wanted to know about every little ache, pain and itch! I began to realize that these were all important puzzle pieces and that through Dr. Souvestre’s understanding of those seemingly unrelated details, he was compiling a complete picture of me: emotionally, cognitively and physically.

Within just the first week of treatment, I started to notice an improvement in some of the symptoms and have gradually been making steady progress ever since. I am now in my fifth month of the treatment I look forward to my visits twice a week and feel confident in knowing that I can reach Dr. Souvestre any time on the telephone if need be.

I am so thankful for the healing that is taking place in my body and for the opportunity to now be able to pursue those once thought, unobtainable dreams and ambitions. My prayers are at long last being answered.
