Who We Are
We are a private outpatient clinic located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, providing leading edge medical care for tough to solve health issues and rehabilitation goals. We can often provide successful issue resolution for those patients with conditions that have not responded to standard treatments. We see patients from all over North America, and other parts of the world, and have an 85% success rate with chronic health conditions.
Our treatment approach is multi-faceted and combines paradigms and techniques from both Western and Eastern medicine. The approach was developed by Philippe A. Souvestre, MD (France), with colleagues, while working as a Flight Surgeon at the Flight Test Centre in France, with the aim to help test pilots recover faster from injuries.
NeuroKinetics uses a neurophysiology (brain and function) viewpoint where the effects of trauma and other overwhelming events are evaluated from the perspective of how the sensory motor area (data in, action out) in the brain has been affected. These areas in the brain coordinate more than just movement, they control the basis of physical, cognitive, emotional, and intellectual function. So, our focus is the brain from a medical perspective, using non-invasive and drugless assessment and treatment protocols.
Referrals
The focus of The NeuroKinetics™ Clinic is the treatment of both recent and chronic injuries that have not responded well to standard therapies. Time since injury does not prevent being able to treat an issue, however it usually makes the case more complex.
Appropriate referrals would include persons who can attend an outpatient clinic and are challenged with the following:
• Acute and Chronic health conditions that don’t respond to traditional treatments
• Chronic pain
• Chronic head ache and migraine conditions
• Conditions of balance, posture, gait and coordination disorders
• Head injuries
• Concussion
• Seizures
• Sports injuries
• Injuries as a result of Motor Vehicle Accidents

Science Based Medicine
The NeuroKinetics approach is relatively new, though it is based on areas of medicine and protocols which have long been established. It blends and makes use of concepts from medical neuroscience, neurophysiology, posturology, traumatology, sports medicine, aerospace medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and biophotonics. Many of the protocols used are accepted practice in France and Europe, but are often less known in North America at this time. Many of Dr. Souvestre’s peer reviewed technical publications are in international aerospace medical journals, as this is where the original expertise developed due the need for functional recovery in these types demanding occupations, and thus where the majority of his peers operate.
We continue to collaborate on research with other parties. For example we are currently partnerwith with Simon Fraser University on several research and post-graduate student projects related to our expertise.
